Join artist and educator Jen Starling in this three-hour workshop providing a solid introduction to oil painting techniques. This workshop is perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their skills. Students will paint a simple still life, focusing on drawing accuracy, value control, and composition while learning to simplify complex forms. The session will also include a brief introduction to color theory, covering basic mixing and application techniques.

The goal is to develop confidence in working with oil paint while exploring foundational techniques essential for growth.

All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm for painting!
