Eco-centric artists worldwide are coveting a specific single-use packaging you may have come across at your local grocery store, the TetraPak container. Its uniquely-layered lining makes it one of the most versatile substrates in printmaking history, images rich with linework and tones that would take several classical processes to achieve. Join local painter and printmaker, Erin Jones, as she unlocks the deep potential of this medium over the course of two weekend sessions. All skill levels are encouraged to try their own hand at each step as we uncover the process of plate rendering and expand into intaglio inking and printing. We will lend ourselves to the curious nature and accessibility that the TetraPak process offers. Celebrate ingenuity and reward yourself with the satisfaction of repurposing trash into treasure!
